Training and Background

After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2010, Dr Tan returned to the Royal Women's Hospital to commence her specialist training in 2014. She has worked at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Sunshine Hospital, and Ballarat Base Hospital. As a Fellow, she gained experience in adolescent gynaecology at the Royal Children's Hospital and gynaecological cancers at the Mercy Hospital for Women.

In 2019, Dr Tan relocated to Boston to undertake a research placement at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, the second-largest teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, bringing international research perspectives to her clinical practice.
