Dr Ashley Fong is an experienced endocrinologist specialising in infertility and reproductive medicine at Westmead Fertility Centre. With over 8 years of experience and a warm, affable, and compassionate approach, she offers comprehensive assessment to meet each individual's needs.
Training and Background
Dr Fong graduated from Monash University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2009. She attained a Master of Medicine in Reproductive Health Sciences and Human Genetics at the University of Sydney in 2011, providing her with unique expertise in the genetic aspects of fertility.
She joined the Westmead Fertility Centre team in 2009 as a visiting medical practitioner at Westmead Hospital.
Areas of Expertise
Dr Fong devotes the majority of her practice to infertility with special expertise in endocrine-related conditions including oligomenorrhoea, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), gestational diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, premature ovarian insufficiency, and male factor infertility. She also assists patients with fertility preservation prior to cancer treatment and preimplantation genetic diagnosis and screening.
