Dr Chris Russell is a co-founder and Clinical Director at Newlife IVF, a Melbourne-based specialist fertility centre offering comprehensive fertility care from fertility testing through to IVF. He is known for providing exceptional continuity of care from conception through to the first trimester of pregnancy.

Training & Background

Chris began his Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in 2004 at Box Hill Hospital, with his principal training taking place at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg. He completed advanced fellowships in Fertility and Reproductive Laparoscopic Surgery at Monash Medical Centre and the Mercy Hospital, and holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine.

He currently works at the Mercy Hospital for Women as the Head of the Reproductive Medicine Unit and has an honorary appointment at the Royal Women's Hospital. He is also a lecturer at The University of Melbourne and has authored several book chapters and research publications regarding IVF treatment.
