Dr Daniel Lantsberg is Clinical Director at Melbourne IVF, leading the education and training portfolio while shaping the next generation of fertility specialists. Training and Background
Dr Lantsberg graduated with honours (Cum Laude) from Ben Gurion University Medical School in Israel in 2008. He completed a six-year fellowship in obstetrics, gynaecology, and fertility at Sheba Medical Center in Israel (ranked among the world's top ten hospitals), then an additional three-year subspecialty fellowship at the Royal Women's Hospital and Melbourne IVF.
Before relocating to Australia, he served as Medical Director of the principal outpatient emergency obstetrics and gynaecology center (Maccabi Healthcare) in Tel Aviv, leading a team of 30 doctors.
Leadership and Research
As a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Dr Lantsberg provides specialist care at The Royal Women's Hospital public fertility service. He founded the Australian-Israeli consortium for advancements in fertility treatments and is actively involved in fertility preservation and oncofertility research.
