Dr David Knight is a Fertility Specialist, Gynaecologist, Obstetrician, and Reproductive Endocrinologist with 30 years of IVF experience. As Medical Director of Demeter Fertility in Sydney, he is a pioneer of Ovarian Rejuvenation and Mild Ovarian Stimulation in Australia and one of Australia's most experienced fertility experts.

Training and Background

Dr Knight began his IVF journey in 1995 at City West IVF, becoming Clinical Director by 1998. He attained his Masters in Reproductive Medicine and was appointed lecturer in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Western Sydney. In 2004, he founded Next Generation Fertility, and in 2009 established Demeter Fertility to pursue thought leadership and best practice processes.

Research and Innovation

For his contributions to fertility research, Dr Knight was awarded the Fertility Society of Australia Research Medal in 2000. He has achieved numerous milestones, including overseeing the birth of Australia's first child through luteal stimulation and multiCOS cycles - a pioneering technique allowing multiple egg collections in a single month.
