Associate Professor Devini Ameratunga (Dr Dev) is the Medical Director of Life Fertility Clinic Brisbane and a double-board certified Gynaecologist, Reproductive Endocrinologist and Fertility Specialist. She is a Director of Life Fertility Clinic and the Clinical Lead of the Fertility Unit at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
Exceptional Qualifications
Dr Dev completed her Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), the highest level of subspecialty training in fertility. She is one of only five Board-certified Fertility Specialists in Queensland, and the first female in Queensland to have been accepted to both CREI and Surgical (Laparoscopic) Fellowships.
Graduating with first-class Honours from the Australian National University in 2007, she commenced specialty training at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. She earned her Masters in Reproductive Medicine from UNSW (with excellence) and completed a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Gold Coast University Hospital in 2014.

Academic & Public Health Roles
A/Prof Ameratunga holds a public Staff Specialist position at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where she actively trains junior doctors and conducts research. She is the Clinical Lead for Fertility Preservation within the Public System and a Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland, with numerous publications and presentations in fertility and gynaecology.
