Dr Devora Lieberman - Harvard-Trained Medical Director with 20+ Years IVF Experience

Dr Devora Lieberman is the Medical Director at City Fertility's Sydney CBD clinic, with over 20 years of experience in reproductive medicine and more than 5,000 IVF cycles performed. A published author and former Director of the Fertility Society of Australia, she has helped thousands of couples and individuals achieve their dreams of parenthood.

Training and Background

Born in New York City, Dr Lieberman obtained her Medical Degree from The State University of New York and completed her obstetrics and gynaecology residency in Washington, DC. She then earned her Masters of Public Health from Harvard University. In 1997, while on faculty at a Harvard hospital, she made the move to Australia.

In 2003, she joined Sydney IVF (now Genea) where she was integral in founding the successful Miscarriage Management program for couples experiencing recurrent miscarriage.

Leadership and Publications

Dr Lieberman served as Director of Family Planning NSW for 12 years (President for most), Director of the Fertility Society of Australia for 8 years, and Visiting Medical Officer at the Menopause Clinic at Royal North Shore Hospital for 17 years. In 2016, she published 'Empowered Fertility' providing information and support for those dealing with infertility.
