Dr Dongah Kim is a fertility specialist and gynaecologist in the final stages of subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) – the highest level of fertility qualification in Australia and New Zealand.


She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine with Excellence from the University of New South Wales.

She currently trains with IVF Australia in Sydney.


Dr Kim is known for her calm, focused approach and her ability to explain complex fertility issues in plain language.

She provides individualised care across the full spectrum of fertility and gynaecological health.

Training & Background

Dr Kim's interest in fertility medicine began during a medical student exchange at the Oxford Fertility Unit through the University of Oxford, where she observed pioneering fertility preservation cases for childhood cancer patients.

She completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Auckland, New Zealand before relocating to Sydney in 2023 to pursue CREI subspecialty training with IVF Australia.


She has also trained across hospitals in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.ResearchDr Kim is the lead author of a Cochrane Systematic Review on hormone therapy and endometrial hyperplasia or cancer.

Her research background ensures her patients receive care grounded in the latest clinical evidence.
