Dr Emily Price is one of TasIVF's leading fertility specialists, based in Hobart, Tasmania. With her compassionate and easy-going personality, holistic approach to medicine and sound clinical education, Emily takes pride in sharing the healthcare journey with her patients.
Training and Background
After graduating with Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2006 from Monash University, Melbourne, Emily completed pre-vocational years at Box Hill Hospital, Melbourne and Barwon Health, Geelong. Emily commenced specialist Obstetric & Gynaecology training at The Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne in 2010 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2017.
She then went on to study a Master in Reproductive Medicine (MReproMed), awarded in 2018, further enhancing her fertility expertise.
Areas of Expertise
Emily manages patients with a wide range of fertility issues, including medical conditions such as PCOS, recurrent miscarriage and auto-immune disease along with elective fertility preservation and egg freezing. She has a particular interest in treating women with infertility associated with surgical conditions such as endometriosis and uterine fibroids.
