Dr Geoff Trueman is an experienced Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist with over 25 years of specialty experience and more than 17 years in private practice on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region.


Originally from the United Kingdom, Dr Trueman graduated from Manchester University in 1987 before relocating to Australia in 1988. He trained in Queensland for obstetrics and gynaecology before completing his training in London. He works in collaboration with City Fertility based in Robina on the Gold Coast.


Dr Trueman is an Associate Medical Professor at Bond University and actively involved with teaching Griffith University medical students. He has served as Director of O&G for four years, Chairman of Surgical Services at St Vincent's Hospital, and Chairman of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at John Flynn Private Hospital.

Training & Background

Dr Trueman completed his medical degree (MB ChB) at Manchester University, UK in 1987. After his intern year in the UK, he relocated to Australia in 1988 and trained in Queensland for obstetrics and gynaecology before finishing training in London. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).


He is based at John Flynn Private Hospital where he conducts private deliveries and gynaecological surgery, and is on the public roster at The Tweed Hospital. He has regular operating lists at both hospitals.
