Experienced Sydney Fertility Specialist & Clinical Director

Dr Georgiana Tang is an experienced gynaecologist and reproductive medicine specialist with over 15 years practising reproductive medicine. She is well-known for her friendly, personal approach with patients and serves as clinical director of City Fertility Centre's Liverpool clinic.

Training and Background

Dr Tang graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 1992 and trained at St George Hospital. In 2004, she completed a Master of Reproductive Medicine at the University of Western Sydney. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

She was the first female staff specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology appointed at Liverpool Hospital, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Leadership and Innovation

Dr Tang has been a co-founder of a number of IVF units and co-founded the first City Fertility Clinic in Sydney in April 2014. Her entrepreneurial spirit and clinical expertise have contributed to expanding fertility services in the Sydney region.

Academic Contributions

Dr Tang was a lecturer at UWS School of Applied Science (2001-2009) and a conjoint lecturer at UNSW and UWS (2001-2005). She is a published author who has given numerous seminars on fertility and gynaecology to patients, nurses and GPs, and has been a speaker at fertility conferences.
