Dr Julie Lukic is a fertility specialist and gynaecologist with over 25 years of experience in reproductive medicine.
She is the Medical Director of Connect IVF, Sydney's bulk-billed IVF clinic.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and a Fellow in Reproductive Medicine from McGill University in Montreal.
She is also a member of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA) and both the American and European Societies of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM, ESHRE).
Dr Lukic is known for her straightforward, results-focused approach.
She is passionate about making quality fertility care accessible and affordable for Australian women.

Training & Background
Dr Lukic graduated from Monash University and completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney in 1996.
She then undertook a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at the same hospital before pursuing further training at McGill University in Montreal – one of the world's leading fertility research centres.
During her three years at McGill, Dr Lukic was involved in groundbreaking research in egg freezing, fertility preservation and in vitro maturation (IVM).
She also trained in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for infertility and in 2006 completed the Advanced Integrated Training Program in Minimal Access Pelvic Surgery.
On returning to Australia, Dr Lukic co-founded Fertility East in Bondi Junction and established a successful fertility and obstetric practice. In 2014, she helped establish the first Medicare bulk-billed IVF clinic in Sydney.
She joined Connect IVF as Medical Director in 2021.
Research
Dr Lukic's research background includes pioneering work in egg freezing, fertility preservation and in vitro maturation (IVM) at McGill University. Her research training ensures her patients receive care informed by the latest clinical evidence.
