Dr Katrina Guerin is a specialist gynaecologist with expertise in infertility, endometriosis, and laparoscopic pelvic surgery. She practices at Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ballarat (OGB) and Ballarat IVF, bringing advanced fertility care to regional Victoria.

With over 20 years of experience in women's health, Dr Guerin holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine from UNSW (graduated with excellence in 2018), giving her specialist expertise in fertility investigation and treatment. She is passionate about women's health and enjoys caring for patients of all ages.

Training & Background

Dr Guerin graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2003 with honours. She completed her intern year in Ballarat, developing surgical skills and strong ties with the local medical community. After completing a Diploma in Women's Health and gaining overseas experience working in Ireland, she returned to Melbourne in 2007 to commence specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology training at the Mercy Hospital for Women.

In 2012, she completed advanced training in laparoscopic surgery with Dr Russell Dalton and Dr Michael Carter at OGB. Driven by her interest in fertility, Dr Guerin expanded her qualifications in 2018 by obtaining a Master of Reproductive Medicine through UNSW, graduating with excellence.

Dr Guerin maintains hospital appointments at St John of God Ballarat, Ballarat Day Procedure Centre, East Grampians Health Service (Ararat), and Maryborough, ensuring regional patients have access to specialist fertility and gynaecological care close to home.

She also tutors medical students for Deakin University.
