Dr Kristin Cornell grew up in a remote town north of Mildura before moving to Melbourne where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science and then a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2007. She completed her Masters of Reproductive Medicine during her final years of training.
Dr Cornell has received both metropolitan and regional training, including time at The Northern Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women, the Royal Women's Hospital, and two years in Warrnambool at South West Health Care and St John of God Hospital. During her final years, she gained extensive experience at the RWH Reproductive Services unit.
She works in all areas of gynaecology with a special interest in fertility and minimally invasive surgery, and has advanced laparoscopic skills particularly in endometriosis treatment. She works in association with Ballarat IVF to create tailored fertility management plans.
