Training and Background

Dr Hicks completed her medical degree with honours at the University of Melbourne in 2012, then undertook specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Mercy Hospital for Women and Albury Wodonga Health. She has also completed a Master's in Reproductive Medicine (with excellence) through the University of New South Wales.

Advanced Surgical Fellowship

In 2020 and 2021, she completed a prestigious AGES-accredited fellowship in advanced gynaecology laparoscopic surgery through the Mercy Hospital for Women and the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. This training allows her to perform complex gynaecological surgeries using minimally-invasive techniques.
