Dr Manuela Toledo is a CREI qualified fertility specialist with a special interest in complex infertility and providing second opinions. She is the only CREI (Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility) qualified fertility specialist in Tasmania and serves as Medical Director of TasIVF.

Training and Background

Dr Toledo graduated in medicine from The University of Melbourne and started specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1997. She trained at both The Mercy Hospital for Women and The Women's Hospital in Melbourne and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2004.

She completed a Masters of Reproduction and Genetics at the University of Sydney and spent three years as the Melbourne IVF Fellow completing specialist training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, obtaining the CREI specialisation in 2008.

Leadership Roles

Dr Toledo is currently a board member of the Fertility Society of Australia. She joined Melbourne IVF as a consultant in 2006 and served as a member of the Melbourne IVF Board from 2006-2013. She has been a fertility specialist with Melbourne IVF for 15 years and established a successful practice there before taking on the Medical Director role at TasIVF.
