Dr Matthew Lau - Internationally Trained Fertility Specialist

Dr Matthew Lau is an internationally trained fertility specialist with extensive experience in IVF and reproductive medicine. Working with City Fertility Centre, he provides comprehensive fertility care including all aspects of LGBTQ+ fertility treatment, from donor cycles to partner IVF. His international experience includes roles at one of the largest IVF centres in Singapore.

Training and Background

Dr Lau graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2000 and trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Singapore. He attained the Master of Medicine (O&G) from Singapore and MRCOG from the United Kingdom in 2007. Since returning to Australia in 2015, he has worked at Monash Health and Women's at Sandringham, becoming a FRANZCOG Fellow in 2016.

Academic Roles

Dr Lau was a Consultant at KKIVF Centre - one of Singapore's largest IVF centres - since 2009. He has been actively involved in teaching as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Assistant Professor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU, Singapore. He has received the Singapore Health Quality Service Award (Gold).
