Dr Mei Lin Tan is a gynaecologist specialising in fertility and operative gynaecology. She is committed to providing a caring environment that makes patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their fertility journey.
Training and Background
In 2006, Dr Tan graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She underwent specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and completed a further two years of advanced training in high-risk obstetrics, fertility ultrasound and gynaecology at the Royal Women's Hospital in Parkville. She completed her Masters of Reproductive Health degree through the University of New South Wales in 2019.
Practice Locations
Dr Tan consults at Northpark Private Hospital in Bundoora and the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg. She provides all aspects of reproductive care including IVF, ovulation induction and egg freezing through City Fertility's Bundoora Clinic. She has a public hospital appointment at the Mercy Hospital and is actively involved in mentoring and training junior doctors.
