Dr Michal Kirshenbaum is a dedicated fertility specialist, obstetrician and gynaecologist with world-class training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI).
She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and holds a Master of Science degree.
She completed her specialist REI training at Sheba Medical Centre in Israel – one of the world's leading fertility centres – followed by a clinical fellowship at The Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne. She currently practises at Melbourne IVF.
Dr Kirshenbaum is known for her evidence-based, patient-centred approach and her commitment to helping patients understand their fertility options.
She provides individualised care with a particular focus on fertility preservation and ovarian stimulation.

Dr Kirshenbaum completed her specialist and postgraduate training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Sheba Medical Centre in Israel, where she trained under Prof. Raoul Orvieto in a unit renowned for pioneering IVF techniques since 1982.
Sheba is recognised globally for treating complex fertility cases.
She relocated to Melbourne to complete a clinical fellowship at The Royal Women's Hospital, one of Australia's leading institutions for women's health.
She is currently undertaking a research fellowship at Melbourne IVF and is a member of the Fertility Preservation Board at The Royal Women's Hospital.
Research
Dr Kirshenbaum has published peer-reviewed research on IVF outcomes in poor ovarian responders, novel ovarian stimulation protocols, recurrent pregnancy loss, and oocyte cryopreservation outcomes. Her research background ensures her patients receive care grounded in the latest clinical evidence.
