Dr Paul Atkinson is the National Medical Director of Adora Fertility and one of Australia's most highly qualified fertility specialists. Holding the prestigious CREI qualification - achieved by fewer than 100 specialists in Australia - he brings exceptional expertise in all aspects of male and female infertility to his practice in Sydney.
Training and Background
Dr Atkinson received his medical degree from The University of Sydney, ranking in the top 0.1% nationally in the medical school entrance examination. He completed his obstetrics and gynaecology specialist training at The Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney, followed by CREI training at The Royal Hospital for Women and IVF Australia. He further enhanced his surgical skills with a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery at Sydney Women's Endosurgery Centre (SWEC) and obtained a Masters of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales.
Academic and Leadership Roles
Dr Atkinson serves as an examiner for the CREI qualification for RANZCOG and is a Conjoint Lecturer at The University of New South Wales, where he contributes to the Masters of Reproductive Medicine program.
