Dr Rabia Shaikh - Fertility Specialist in Western Sydney
Dr Rabia Shaikh is a highly regarded obstetrician, gynaecologist, and fertility specialist who assists patients with a wide range of fertility concerns as well as all aspects of women's health. As Clinical Director of The Fertility Centre, she has worked in the Nepean area for 14 years, bringing exceptional expertise and personal understanding to fertility care.
Training and Background
Dr Shaikh obtained her MBBS followed by a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She gained her Masters in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales and has also completed the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), the highest qualification for fertility specialists in Australia and New Zealand. Dr Shaikh has undergone advanced laparoscopic training at Westmead, Northshore and Mater Hospitals with leading laparoscopic surgeons.
Academic and Clinical Roles
Dr Shaikh is a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney, teaching students at Nepean and Westmead Hospitals. She is a visiting medical officer at Nepean Hospital, Westmead Hospital, and Westmead Private Hospital, and is affiliated with IVF Australia and Westmead Fertility Centre.
