Dr Raewyn Teirney is an internationally renowned and respected fertility specialist who has been working in gynaecology and infertility for more than 20 years. As one of fewer than 100 CREI-certified fertility specialists in Australia, she brings exceptional expertise to her practice with IVF Australia, helping countless couples achieve their dream of having a baby.

Training and Background

Dr Teirney studied at Auckland University before completing her Masters of Medicine in Reproductive Health and Human Genetics at The University of Sydney. Following her obstetric and gynaecology training in Sydney, she pursued sub-specialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as a clinical lecturer at Cambridge University and Bourn Hall IVF Centre in England - one of the world's leading centres of IVF research and clinical excellence. She obtained her Certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) in 2002.

Professional Roles

Dr Teirney currently works as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) fertility subspecialist at The Royal Hospital for Women, and in private practice with IVF Australia at Bondi Junction and Alexandria Day Hospital. She is regularly featured in the media both in Australia and globally for her fertility expertise.
