Training and Background
Originally from New Zealand, Dr Mackenzie-Proctor graduated from Otago Medical School and undertook the postgraduate diploma of obstetrics and medical gynaecology at Auckland University, where she was a lecturer for undergraduate students. She completed her specialist training through FRANZCOG and has held consultant roles at Middlemore Hospital and various private fertility centres. She has practiced fertility medicine for over 8 years and recently became a board-certified CREI Accredited Senior Fellow.

Dr Mackenzie-Proctor has vast experience managing complex fertility and gynaecological issues including endometriosis, impact of high-intensity sport (having worked with Olympic and national sports representatives), PCOS, ovarian insufficiency, and all aspects of male infertility. As a skilled laparoscopic and microsurgical surgeon, she has particular focus on male infertility and endometriosis surgery. She has an acute understanding of adolescent and younger women's health including puberty and fertility preservation.
