Dr Ritu Rana is one of Queensland's leading fertility specialists, recognised for achieving one of the highest IVF success rates in Queensland. With sixteen years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology and a very kind and empathetic manner towards her patients, she provides comprehensive fertility care to patients from Mackay and surrounding areas.

Training and Background

Dr Rana completed her seven years of obstetrics and gynaecology training in Yorkshire, UK, working in tertiary hospitals in the NHS in Leeds and Bradford. In 2011-12, she completed a fellowship in reproductive medicine at the Leeds Centre of Reproductive Medicine, UK, where she was part of a team that performed over 2,000 IVF cycles. She has also been awarded a certificate for Early Pregnancy and Advanced Gynaecology Ultrasound Scan by the British Fertility Society.
