Dr Sam Sturrock is a gynaecologist, obstetrician, and fertility specialist consulting at Monash IVF in Brighton and Cremorne, Melbourne. He combines expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgery with specialised fertility training to provide comprehensive, holistic care for women at all stages of their reproductive health journey.
Dr Sturrock is passionate about providing patient-centred care and believes that clear, open communication is at the core of quality healthcare. He takes a holistic approach to gynaecological and fertility care, with particular expertise in managing conditions that affect fertility such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, and fibroids.

Training & Background
Dr Sturrock completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University. He undertook his Obstetrics & Gynaecology training through Monash Health, gaining experience managing both high and low-risk obstetric patients as well as gynaecological disorders ranging from subfertility to endometriosis and gynaecological cancers.
During his advanced training, he completed an intensive year of laparoscopic gynaecological surgery with the team at Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ballarat (OGB) in regional Victoria in 2022. This training had a particular focus on improving fertility outcomes and the surgical management of endometriosis, adenomyosis, and fibroids.
Following his laparoscopic surgery training, Dr Sturrock completed a fellowship in Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology through Monash IVF and Monash Health in 2023. He is currently completing his Master of Reproductive Medicine.
Dr Sturrock also provides obstetric care at Cabrini Malvern and has appointments at Waverley Private Hospital and Monash Private Surgical Hospital.
