Dr Serag Youssif is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist at Melbourne IVF and Create Fertility. With over 32 years of experience treating fertility issues, he brings exceptional expertise and a wealth of clinical knowledge to his practice, helping couples achieve their dreams of parenthood.
Training and Background
Dr Youssif started his IVF training in 1989 at Bourn Hall Clinic in Cambridge, the very first IVF clinic in the world. He completed his Masters in Reproductive Medicine with distinction and obtained specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in the UK, where he became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. The Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists admitted him as a Fellow to the College. He also completed the English PLAB, American USMLE, FLEX and ECFMG, and Canadian MCCEE examinations.
Clinical Experience
Dr Youssif has treated fertility issues such as PCOS, ovulation induction, recurrent miscarriage, unexplained infertility, and male factor infertility for over three decades. He has held a public appointment at Eastern Health for 25 years and operates at Box Hill, Epworth, St Vincents, Frances Perry, NorthPark, and John Fawkner Hospitals.
