Dr Sonal Karia - Fertility Specialist in Sydney
Dr Sonal Karia is a certified subspecialist in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (CREI), a qualification held by fewer than 80 specialists in Australia and New Zealand. Known for her approachable manner and clear communication, she takes the time to understand each patient's circumstances and provide guidance tailored to their individual needs.
Training and Background
Dr Karia obtained her primary medical qualification (MBBS) from Grant Medical College and JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai and completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD) at Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences. Before moving to Australia in 2004, she worked in the Fertility Clinic and IVF Centre in Mumbai for three years as an Associate Consultant. She pursued further specialist qualifications in Australia, obtaining FRANZCOG followed by subspecialty training in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at Genea. She is an accredited specialist with Genea – World Leading Fertility.
