Training and Background

Dr Manley grew up in country Victoria and studied medicine at Monash University, graduating with Honours in 2005. After completing specialty training at Monash Health in 2014, he undertook a two-year AGES-accredited advanced laparoscopic fellowship. He was awarded the inaugural AGES travelling fellowship to work in Chicago with Dr Charles Miller, an expert in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. He then completed fellowship training in reproductive medicine and IVF at the Royal Women's Hospital and Melbourne IVF.

Academic and Teaching Roles

Dr Manley is a senior clinician at Monash Health with appointments in the Monash Gynaecology Endosurgery unit and Obstetric team. He supervises training doctors and is faculty on the Monash Gynaecological Endosurgery Preceptorship Program, providing laparoscopic training to gynaecologists across Australia.
