Dr Trixie Rasmuson is Regional Clinical Director in Albury for Monash IVF, bringing state-of-the-art fertility services to the Albury-Wodonga region. She is passionate about providing a supportive and caring environment for all patients and caregivers, making advanced fertility treatment accessible to those in regional Australia.

Training and Background

Born in the Yukon Territory, Canada, Dr Rasmuson studied science and philosophy at the University of Calgary before entering medicine. She completed her surgical specialty training in Halifax, Nova Scotia and had a practice in high and low risk obstetrics and general gynaecology in Fredericton, New Brunswick. On moving to Australia, she focused her practice on gynaecology and IVF.

Current Practice

In 2011, Dr Rasmuson opened Care Gynaecology where she cares for clients with infertility, menstrual disturbances, menopause issues, precancer cervix changes, urinary incontinence, and prolapse. She works as a consultant for Monash IVF which offers infertility and IVF services locally through Reproductive Medicine Albury.

Advancing Regional Fertility Care

Monash IVF has installed state-of-the-art preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) equipment at its Albury laboratory under Dr Rasmuson's leadership.
